New Construction Insulation

Get it right the first time.

We work with builders across Maine and New Hampshire to install, document, and certify insulation on new builds — on your schedule, with zero callbacks.

See how it works

Why new construction insulation matters

The easiest time to insulate correctly is before the walls close.

Retrofitting a poorly insulated home costs two to three times more than doing it right during construction. Air gaps, thermal bridging, and incorrect R-values baked into the framing phase become expensive problems for the homeowner — and callbacks for the builder.

We've insulated enough new builds to know what the inspectors look for, what the energy codes require, and how to work around the other trades without slowing the job down.

Energy code compliant

We install to Maine and NH energy code requirements and provide all documentation for permit sign-off.

Right R-value, right assembly

We spec the correct insulation system for your wall assembly, roof design, and climate zone — not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Blower door testing available

Final airtightness verification available before drywall or at inspection — whatever your project requires.

Documentation included

Insulation certificates, R-value records, and job-site photos for your permit file and the homeowner.

What we install

Every new construction project is different. We match the system to the build.

Spray Foam

Open and closed cell spray foam for walls, rim joists, roof decks, and hard-to-reach cavities. Highest air-sealing performance available.

Blown-In Cellulose

Dense-pack cellulose for wall cavities and attic floors. Cost-effective, fire-resistant, and excellent thermal performance.

Fiberglass Batts

Standard batt insulation for walls and ceilings where it's the right fit — installed correctly with no gaps, no compression.

Mineral Wool

Fire-resistant, moisture-tolerant, and dimensionally stable. Ideal for basements, garages, and mixed-use applications.

Rim Joist Insulation

One of the most common air leakage points in new construction. We seal and insulate every rim joist as part of the job.

Air Sealing

Insulation and air sealing together. We seal the building envelope before or during insulation installation — not as an afterthought.

How we work with builders

Simple process. No surprises.

01

Plans review

Send us your plans before the build starts. We review wall assemblies, roof design, and spec the right insulation system for your energy code requirements.

02

Schedule coordination

We confirm a window directly with your super. We show up when we say we will, work around the other trades, and don't hold up your timeline.

03

Installation

Our own crew — not subs — installs the insulation. Every job is inspected by a lead before we leave the site.

04

Documentation handed over

We provide insulation certificates, R-value records, and job photos for the permit file and the homeowner's records.

Common questions

Insulation is typically installed after framing and rough-in mechanical work, before drywall. Timing varies by insulation type — spray foam can go in earlier, while blown-in cellulose usually follows after other trades are done. We coordinate directly with your schedule.
