Why we started and what we focused on.
Simplified Green Homes started in Lebanon, Maine because too many homeowners were getting handed reports and never getting their problem fixed. An energy auditor would come out, produce a document, and leave. The homeowner had a report and a cold house.
We built the company around a different model. The same company that diagnoses your home fixes it. The auditor and the installer are on the same team. If the result is not right, there is one number to call and one company accountable.
Since 2016 we have grown our crew, expanded our services, and maintained that model. We are one of the few companies in New England that does both the diagnostic and the installation under one roof. That is not a marketing line. It is how we are structured — and it is why our customers refer us.

BPI Building Analyst Certified
The Building Performance Institute sets the professional standard for residential energy work. Our auditors have passed written and field performance tests. When we tell you where your home loses energy, that assessment meets a professional standard — not just a trained opinion.
Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Contractor
This certification unlocks financing options for homeowners that are not available through standard contractors. If cost is a factor in your decision, ask us about HPwES financing options.
Efficiency Maine Registered Vendor
Registration means we are qualified to perform work under Efficiency Maine rebate programs and handle the paperwork on your behalf. Without a registered vendor, homeowners have to navigate the application themselves. With us, they do not.
NH Saves Participating Contractor
Same model for New Hampshire customers. We work with your utility program, handle the documentation, and you collect the rebate.
